Ed Partners Perspectives

Thank You, P3CC Pioneer Math!

In May, Ed Partners celebrated the nine districts that made up our second cohort of our P3CC Math Collaboration. Starting in June of 2021, amid COVID precautions, these districts worked together, tried innovative ideas, gathered data and identified opportunities to create a more coherent system for their youngest mathematicians.

Over the three years of the collaboration, we saw a consistent focus and dedication that propelled each district team forward. This focus resulted in the spreading of promising practices beyond the improvement team, creation of more systemic ways to set clear expectations for grade level standards, scaling of high-leverage pedagogical practices, monitoring of PreK-3 progress, and building capacity of teachers and leaders.

The participating school districts included Alum Rock Union School District, Arvin Union School District, Central Unified School District, Burbank Unified School District, Fillmore Unified School District, Lake Tahoe Unified School District, San Rafael City Elementary School District, Santa Paula Unified School District, and Sausalito Marin City School District. We are excited to see how each improvement team continues to make their moves more systemic and sustained in the upcoming years. We continue to be impressed with the commitment and determination of each district team and we will be there to support you, every step of the way!

Thank You, P3CC Pioneer Literacy!

Congratulations to the eight districts that joined together to create P3CC Literacy! This collaboration sunsetted in June with districts having clear accomplishments in their area of focus including improved student outcomes, an aligned assessment process allowing teachers and administrators to adjust instruction and allocate resources as needed, along with next steps to further scale and sustain work in comprehensive literacy.

The following districts were a part of the P3CC Literacy collaboration: Central Union Unified School District, Cutler-Orosi Unified School District, Dinuba Unified School District, Grass Valley Unified School District, Lynwood Unified School District, Monterey Bay Peninsula Unified School District, Reef-Sunset Unified School District, Windsor Unified School District.

The friendships and connections built within teams and across districts served as an accelerant to learning from and with each other along with contacts across the state of California with others engaging in Preschool through 3rd grade coherence in literacy.

California Education Partners would like to thank these districts and teams for allowing us to be a partner in their learning and implementation journey.

Join Our Future Collaborations

We look forward to supporting students where they begin their school journey (Preschool to Third Grade) and where they shift their focus toward colleges and careers (8th and 9th Grade On Track). Don’t hesitate to reach out and learn more about our new collaborations which begin in fall of 2025.
