California Education Partners staff members have worked at every level of school systems and have the honor of partnering with administrators, principals, teachers and families to remove unfair barriers standing in the way of our students. Thank you for being a collaborator in this work. I’m excited to share with you our very first edition of Ed Partners Perspectives, our monthly newsletter. We’re eager to share lessons from our district partners, highlight resources from the field and give our take on the latest in the world of California education.
Welcome P3CC Pioneer Districts!
California Education Partners would like to welcome our newest districts that are joining the PreK to Third Grade Coherence Collaborations (P3CC). Pioneer Math and Pioneer Literacy collaborations will begin building an academic and structural bridge between preschool and TK-3 programs. Both the Math and Literacy Pioneer groups will uncover the power of early childhood educational opportunities and improving outcomes for multilingual learners through high-quality mathematics and literacy learning experiences in preschool and elementary school that result in confident and curious thinkers. These two collaborations will build a network of powerful educators and will work together to bring continuity and alignment to their systems. With universal TK on the horizon in California, our P3CC districts will support each other as they develop and test contextually-driven Change Ideas that will accelerate student achievement and help inform efforts throughout the state.
