Violet Leo

Violet is the Administrative Assistant in the Ed Partners Oakland office. She supports Program staff to ensure that program curricula, systems and tools are consistent across the organization. She assists with events by coordinating and preparing resources for convenings.

Prior to Ed Partners, Violet worked as administrator for the largest preschool in Hong Kong. She also worked as a systems analyst for IBM in both Hong Kong and San Francisco as well as for Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco. 

Violet studied Linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley and Computer Science at California State University, Hayward.

Violet believes that a caring and safe environment for children is essential to learning. She is happy that at Ed Partners she can contribute to improving California’s public education systems.
